The Carnegie Gallery is pleased to present new work by established Hamilton artist Holly Sneath. The landscapes in this exhibition capture the ruggedness of the Near North in Temiskaming where the artist has her cottage. She carefully arranges shape and space balancing formalism with an intuitive based response to her experienced environment. Her use of transparency, light and shadow further suggest the transient quality of the natural world.
