The Carnegie Gallery is pleased to present new work by established Dundas artist and Artist Member, Iris McDermott. This exhibition features paintings using acrylic paint and various mixed media and collage techniques to create layered conversations within the subject of the work. Intuitively reacting to the subject of a still life, landscape or interior, the convergence of realism and abstraction becomes more about the experience rather than the depiction.
