The Carnegie Gallery is pleased to present the landscape paintings of established Dundas artist, Peter Fischer. Fischer’s second exhibition at the Carnegie, “At the Water’s Edge” is a presentation of images inspired by our deep-rooted attraction to water. With humanities’ dependence on access to fresh water, those who are lucky enough to have abundant access to it are also often gifted with direct access to many large and small bodies of water. These bodies of water are a precious resource, and their “edges” are where we can approach and enjoy these ponds, streams, lakes and oceans.
