Meet the artist Saturday September 11, 1-3pm
The Carnegie Gallery is pleased to present the ceramic work of Artist Member and long-time potter Terry Osborne. Terry fires her functional ware in her wood burning kiln which she fondly refers to as ‘Maizie’ due to its location next to a corn field. The long 36-40 hour firing process requires constant attention and a dedicated crew. The combination of wood and soda in the firing contribute to creating the unique and lively surfaces on her textured pots.
