Donna Ibing

Donna Ibing has been a professional artist since graduating from the Ontario College of Art and Design in 1971 .  She is known both as a figurative painter and a printmaker working primarily in woodcut.  Her bold graphic style is as evident in her many feminist themed portraits as in her colourful Japanese inspired landscapes.  Donna has participated in numerous group and solo shows across Canada and was the subject of a retrospective at the Art Gallery of Burlington in 1993.  Her work is included in the permanent collections of  the Art Gallery of Hamilton, Robert McLaughlin Gallery, Oshawa Public Gallery, Grimsby Public Library, Kitchener/Waterloo Gallery, and the Grimsby Art Gallery.
