Jill Creighton

Dundas, ON

Jill Creighton’s hand-sewn textile compositions reflect her interest in abstraction and narrative.  Her intimate and intuitive based work plays with colour, shape and pattern, often referencing the artist’s domestic environment.   She studied at Sheridan College School of Craft and Design and received a B.A. from McMaster University, and has been practicing since 1980.  Jill’s work was highlighted in the Carnegie Gallery’s ‘FibreOptiks’ exhibition in 2017.
