This informative illustrated talk will pull back the curtain on today’s art world.  We will explore the changing priorities of art schools, the current role of public and private galleries, as well as some of the challenges faced by practicing artists.

Marla Panko has exhibited her artwork extensively throughout the region and is the recipient of numerous awards.  She has also sustained a long and varied career in art education and is currently the Curator of the Carnegie Gallery.
