Turner painting


The British artist J.M.W.Turner (1775-1851) shocked traditional painters of his generation with his atmospheric, innovative landscape paintings featuring sublime colours and arresting use of light and texture. In conjunction with the AGO’s “Turner: Painting Set Free” exhibition, art historian Regina Haggo will explore Turner’s art.
