Nathan Rogers concerts cancelled

Hello Music Lovers,

I have been avoiding this for as long as I could, but I can’t put it off any longer. I am sad to say that the two Nathan Rogers concerts rescheduled for Sept. 26 and 27 have now been cancelled.

We have never before had to add a second show so this is a big disappointment. In addition at this point I am unable to book a series at all for next season. So the entire 2020 / 2021 Carnegie Concert Series has been put on hold.

If you are a subscriber or had purchased tickets to see Nathan Rogers, you have two choices. You may contact the Carnegie Gallery and ask for a refund. Or you might wish to not ask for a refund but instead consider your purchase as a contribution to the Carnegie. We are a not-for-profit gallery and have been facing a dramatic loss of revenue. We have also had to cancel all our other fundraising events as well. We would be most grateful if that was your choice.

If you do want a refund, please call the gallery at 905-627-4265 during business hours, Tuesday to Saturday 10am till 4:30pm. Or email us at [email protected]

I am also upset because I had booked another of my favourite songwriters John Wort Hannam for a concert in November. But he has been busy with some new songs. Here are a couple of recent topical ones. “The Other Side of the Curve” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TPKdN_gDOH4, and “Only Love” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ff9E5ERa6NU

Take care. Stay safe. See you all down the road.
