Timothy studied electrical engineering at the University of Toronto before attending the ceramics program at Sheridan College.  He initially worked in the pottery studio of Scott Barnim in Dundas for four years, and then opened his own studio in Wiarton.  He is known for creating beautiful thrown functional ware for the table.  His pots are decorated with a distinctive range of glazes and brushed or incised surface decoration. He is a long time member of the Potters’ Guild of Hamilton and Region, and has participated in numerous group exhibitions, craft shows and studio tours.

“ I believe that living with objects of utilitarian beauty can enhance the enjoyment of each day. I try to make pots which satisfy that belief.”
